Painting: Savior and Friend

Savior and Friend
Pencil, ink and acrylic
Commissioned piece

This is my first attempt at a Jesus painting...Not easy, considering I've never met Him in person! A friend of mine asked if I could paint this for her. I know it pales in comparison to the man Himself,  but this is a representation rather than a true portrait.

Thai was a little boy I met at an orphanage in Vietnam. A couple of my team members were able to have some one-on-one play time with him for a little bit.

Psalm 23

I believe this is one of my distant, great-great-something-or-others.
Something about this man intrigues me. I drew this from an old black and white photograph in my family's archives.

Young Vietnamese Girl

Young Vietnamese Girl
Pencil sketch

One of my friends anonymously gave me a new sketchbook and pencil set recently, and I had to try them out.

This girl lives at an orphanage that my friends and I visited in Vietnam.
